A group of 15 students of Nubra region was flagged off from Diskit, Nubra by Brigadier K.P Singh, for Educational cum Motivational tour to Delhi, Chandigarh and Luknow on Sept 09, organized by 2nd Bihar Regiment under Sadbhavana Programme. The students are scheduled to meet the President of India Sh. Pranab Mukharjee and Chief Minister of Punjab Sh. Prakash Singh Badal. The SDM, Nubra R.K Rangan, civil and army officer were also present on the occasion.

The aim of the tour is to showcase the development of the country to the youth from the remote and far flung areas and also to provide them an opportunity to visit important places of interest and to interact with the people of those regions and also eminent personalities, thereby widening their horizon.
 
A befitting cultural programme was also presented on the occasion of flag off ceremony at Taxi stand Diskit.
