Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired a review meeting with key stakeholders on December 21 at the Council Office to finalize preparations for the upcoming Chadar Trek 2024.

After detailed discussions, it was decided that the Chadar Trek will officially begin on January 7, 2024.

CEC Gyalson emphasized the need for close coordination among departments to ensure smooth operations and a safe experience for trekkers. He directed all stakeholders to provide the necessary resources and support systems to facilitate the event successfully.

The meeting was attended by ADC Ghulam Mohd, General Secretary Nurboo Angchuk, CMO Leh, Presidents of LATTA, ALGHA, and ALTOA, the Vice President of the Ladakh Winter Sports Club, Dy. Superintendents of UTDRF and Hq Leh, and other officials.
