Pangong Warriors clinches the Archery champion trophy

CHUSHUL :
With 803 points, Pangong Warriors won the Inter-youth Club Archery tournament on September 2 and 3 in Chushul, Changthang. The tournament was organized by Youth Association Chushul (YAC) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Leh.
A total of 14 teams from different villages of Durbuk block participated in the tournament. Pangong Panther bagged Runners-Up trophy with 682 points. The top six archers of the tournament will form a team of 4 main and 2 substitutes who will represent the block and participate in the archery tournament, 2018 in Leh.
Colonel, Depender Jasrotia, Commanding Officer was the Chief Guest of the occasion while N S Bhandari, Deputy Commandant, ITBP, Chushul, was the Guest of Honour.
Colonel, Depender Jasrotia, Commanding Officer appreciated the efforts of the welfare society and assured help and support.
Youth Association Chushul was formed in 2005 with an aim to serve the community in the field of education, health awareness, promotion and preservation of Cultural Heritage besides other social works.”
Tsering Gyaltson, President demanded sports equipment for the youth of the region and requested Deputy Commandant, Chushul to provide furniture for the office of YAC.
