Nyoma Senior emerged victorious in the 18th Kailash Running Cricket Tournament, defeating Y.A.C. Chushul by a significant margin of 153 runs.

Organized by the Nyoma Youth Association under its Vibrant Village initiative, the tournament drew enthusiastic participation from various departments of the Nyoma block. Chief Guest Councillor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang, and Guest of Honour Colonel Vinay Yadav, Deputy Commandant of the 254 Snow Leopard Brigade, were present to witness the thrilling match. Special guest Carmen Williamson from New Zealand also graced the occasion.

Councillor Ishey Spalzang praised Nyoma Senior for their outstanding performance and thanked the organizers for promoting sports in the Changthang region. He emphasized the importance of local involvement in sports initiatives supported by LAHDC Leh.
