City Club Drass has again retained the CEC Cup Ice Hockey for the fifth Consecutive year and has become the undefeated Champion till date.

On this occasion the Executive Councillor for CA&PD and Rural Dept LAHDC Kargil was the chief guest and A DC Kargil Moses Kunzang was the guest of honour.

Over 12 teams from all over the Kargil participated in the three days event at Kapila Pashkum, where the tournament was organized at a natural frozen lake formation on Wakha River.

Haji Shafi appreciated the players and urged them to participate in these games where there is more scope of National and International level participation for youths. He assured all type of help for promoting games like Ice Hockey, Archery, and Horse Polo etc.

Later he distributed awards and trophies among the winner and runner up teams.

On this occasion, District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kargil, District Officers and hundreds of spectators were also present.
