Ahead of the 6th Kargil International Marathon 2023, the Bib number and T-shirt distribution was held at the office of Assistant Director Tourism, Kargil on September 14.
 
The 6th Kargil International Marathon 2023 features an array of race categories, ensuring there's something for everyone. Scheduled for September 17 and 18, this mega-annual marathon event is set to captivate both national and international audiences. The races, catering to diverse levels of expertise, will kick off from the Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium at Biamathang, Kargil.

On 17 September, runners will participate in the brisk 5-kilometer race, the challenging 10-kilometer sprint, the demanding Half marathon, and the ultimate test of endurance - the full Marathon covering 42.195 kilometers. In a demonstration of youthful zeal, the under-16 and under-18 categories will compete on September 18, 2023.

The race route promises a breathtaking journey, leading runners from the Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium through the iconic Suru Valley road to Saliskot village, spanning a distance of 21.1 kilometers, before returning to the starting point for a triumphant finish.

The 6th Kargil International Marathon 2023 is more than just a race; it symbolizes unity, diversity, and the unyielding spirit of Ladakh.
