A workshop on National Education Policy 2020 for the teachers of Higher Secondary Schools of Leh district was organised by Director of College Affairs in collaboration with EJM College, Leh on January 10 .

The workshop was organised in view of the implementation of the NEP in the coming session of 2023-24 in the colleges of Ladakh.  About 50 lecturers from different Higher Secondary Schools in the Leh district participated in the workshop, despite being on winter vacation. 

Prof. Deskyong Namgyal and Prof. Tashi Ldawa conducted the workshop to appraise the teachers on the importance of NEP 2020 and the need for its understanding by the HSS teachers for further dissemination to the school students who will be taking admissions in the college. 

Also, an interactive session was held during the workshop. 

Principal, EJM College Leh/Director, Colleges Affairs, Dr. Sameena Iqbal, thanked the participants and the resource persons for taking their time and anticipated further dissemination of the information among the students by the teachers.
