Workshop cum training on Integrated Sample Survey (ISS) for State/District Nodal Officers of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and UT of Ladakh was conducted by the Department of Animal Husbandry, UT Ladakh on June 6 at Leh.   

The workshop cum training programme was inaugurated by Advisor (Statistics), Director, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, GoI, Jagat Hazarika.

The objective of the workshop cum training programme was to update the State Nodal Officers/District Nodal Officers about the eLISS application and to identify the essential data gaps and recommend suitable measures to deliberate and recommend accurate major livestock products data from States & UTs.   

The training programme was attended by Director (AHS) DAHD, GoI, V. P. Singh; Director, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Departments, UT Ladakh, Dr. Mohd Iqbal; Director, AHD, Kashmir, Dr Altaf Ahmad Laway; State/District Nodal Officers of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh and representative of ICAR-IASRI.
