Department of Industries & Commerce, Ladakh, in collaboration Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, conducted a webinar on “Business Potential of Floriculture and Aromatic Plants in Ladakh” on May 6.

Experts from IHBT, Rakesh Kumar Rana, Senior Principal Scientist expert in Aromatic Plants, and Bhavya Bhargava, Senior Scientist and an expert in floriculture, shared a presentation on “Business Potential of Floriculture and Aromatic Plants in Ladakh”. 

Around 35 participants (Entrepreneurs, Agriculture Graduates, etc.) participated in the webinar from Leh & Kargil districts.

Ranbir Singh, Entrepreneur in Aromatic plants from HP, and Pawan, Entrepreneur in Floriculture from HP shared their success story of becoming entrepreneurs in this field.
