The UT level Science, Mathematics, and Environment exhibition-2023, organized by DIET Kargil concluded on June 22. Model exhibitions themed, “Technology and Toys” were showcased by 36 teams of Leh and Kargil.

Out of the 36 teams from Leh and Kargil, 21 teams will contest in the national level competition.

Executive Councilor, Works, LAHDC, Kargil, Mubarak Shah Naqvi along with other dignitaries interacted with the students. He appreciated students for their skills and knowledge.
 
Executive Councilor, RD, Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, Er Phunsok Tashi congratulated the participants and expressed hope that they will contribute to nation-building later in their lives.  He also congratulated the concerned department for successfully concluding the UT-level event and expressed happiness over the functioning of Government Schools.
 
He also applauded the first position holder from Kargil in the NEET examination at UT level. 

Founder Ladakh Science Foundation and Scientist ISRO, Tsering Tashi, and Scientist KVK, Nasreen Fatima Kacho gave presentations on the sustainable use of space technology and agriculture for a sustainable future.
 
Later, the dignitaries distributed trophies and certificates among the winners and participants.
