UT-level contract committee meeting clears major developmental projects in health, infrastructure & public amenities in Ladakh Sahu prioritizes timely execution by ensuring transparent procedures and quality of work
The 19th meeting of the UT Level Contract Committee was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner/Secretary, Ajeet Kumar Sahu at the Civil Secretariat, Leh on July 5.
The meeting focused on awarding contracts for vital developmental works in the health sector, infrastructure development, public amenities, and more. Transparent procedures and evaluation criteria were prioritized to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Under the purview of the committee, the primary objective was to award contracts for major projects and evaluates potential contractors for a diverse range of crucial undertakings.
Commissioner/Secretary, Ajeet Kumar Sahu reaffirmed the UT Administration’s unwavering commitment to citizen well-being by prioritizing investments in essential sectors such as health, infrastructure development, and public amenities. He emphasized the importance of stringent project management, adherence to high-quality standards, and timely completion of designated works.
The meeting witnessed the presence of members of the contract committee, including Administrative Secretary of Youth and Sports, Ravinder Kumar; Administrative Secretary of Law Department, Fayaz Ahmed Sheikh; Director of Finance, Dr. Safdar Ali; Director of Health, Dr. Motup Dorjey; Chief Engineer of PHE/I&FC; Chief Engineer of PDD, and Assistant Director of Planning (PWD).
