United India Swacchta campaign begins in Kargil

Kargil :
United India Swacchta campaign was flagged off on 26 September at taxi stand Kargil by Gulzar Hussain Vice President of Municipal Committee Kargil.
The campaign aims to impart awareness among people about the importance of clean surroundings and will conclude on 2 October.
The ward members distributed masks and hand gloves among the street vendors and also initiated a cleanliness drive from the taxi stand to TFC and Kako Shilikchey Kargil.
Head Assistant MC Kargil, all ward members, self-help groups, and street vendors participated in the campaign, which aims at mobilizing citizen action and commitment toward the vision of building ‘Garbage Free Cities.’
