daya Bhaskar, a 2008-batch IPS officer, took charge as the new senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Leh on October 24. He replaced SSP T. Gyalpo.

Addressing mediapersons , he said earlier he worked with Jammu police and was the SP of Gandhinagar and later on he was shifted to Anantnag as Additional  SP and then came back to Jammu as SP operations. 

He said he continued to work as SSP of Jammu South and then later he was posted as SP traffic, Jammu for 7 months. Recently he was transferred to Leh as SSP. He further said that this is his first time to Leh and he will extent his services to this place. 

 

He said, “I will do my service to best of my capabilities.”

The outgoing SSP T.Gyalpo welcomes him and wishes him all the best.
