One-day training program for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Tehsil Shakar-Chiktan in connection with Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2024 was held on July 4 at Tehsil Office, Shakar-Chiktan.

Tehsildar, Shakar-Chiktan, Ghulam Rasool, who is also Assistant Electoral Officer (AERO), stressed the ECI theme of "No Voters to be left behind" during SSR activities and focused on the preparation of a healthy electoral roll for the BLOs. He directed not to miss a single house during house-to-house verification which is beginning on 21.07.2023 and will continue up to 21.08.2023 as per the ECI direction and guidelines.

Regarding the rationalization of Polling Stations, AERO directed the BLOs to take consent from local representatives of the villages including Councilors, Sarpanch, Panch, and political parties.

Tehsildar Shakar-Chiktan, Ghulam Rasool, Zonal Education Officer, Shakar-Chiktan, Mohd Ibrahim, BLO Supervisors, Booth Level Officers, and officials of Tehsil Shakar-Chiktan, were present during the one-day training session.
