The second round training for all the Returning Officers/ Assistant Returning Officers of all the 26 Constituency of LAHDC, Leh including Reserved Officers was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Commissioner Leh/Election Officer LAHDC Leh R.K Badyal in DC Conference Hall ON 18 September.

 

All the ROs and AROs were provided with Electoral Rolls of their respective constituency along with sufficient numbers of election related forms and stationary. They will resume their duty at their offices already setup in their respective constituency from 22nd Sept. 2015 which is the starting date for filing nomination.

 

The ADC, Leh R.K Badyal directed all the ROs and AROs to be impartial while performing their duties and directed ROs to ensure that no political parties will organize political rallies without the prior permission of the concerned ROs.  Badyal further said that all the BLOs of district will remain at their respective Polling Stations to assist the ROs/AROs during month long election process. 

Explaining in detail about the expenditure monitoring process to be followed during the election period, Account Officer DC Office, Leh Jigmet Namgial said that all the ROs will head the Expenditure Monitoring Committee in their respective constituency and they are also authorized to appoint govt officials for this purpose.
