Under the aegis of Ladakh Legal Services Authority of UT Ladakh and District Legal Services Authority Leh, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Khaltse observed National Legal Services Day at Higher Secondary School Khaltse on November 9.

The speakers highlighted the significance and importance of the day. 

Munsiff/Chairman Tehsil Legal Service Committee (TLSC) Khaltse, Wangial Tsering highlighted the importance of National Legal Services Day and also spoke about the Legal Services Authorities Act and Preamble of Constitution and Art 39A of the Constitution.
SHO Police Station Khaltse, Feroz Ahmad highlighted the importance of the day and encouraged the participants to make themselves aware of the laws enacted for their benefit.

On the occasion, Four Para Legal Volunteers of Khaltse Block stationed at Khaltse, Lingshed, Temisgang, and Skurbuchan were honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for their dedication and hard work in the field of legal services.
