A new road project worth ₹78 crores and ₹26 lakh under CRF sanctioned for Kargil district on April 3.

Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, CEC, Kargil expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Haji Anayat Ali, Chairman, Legislative Council and Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Public Work for sanctioning the projects.

Expressing his hope from the road projects, he said that this will change the life of the people of Kargil district in many ways. 

He further stated that the State Government has responded to the demands of the people of Kargil with great sensitivity and expressed thankfulness to the government for expediting the headway with regard to the various phases of the projects submitted by the executing agencies.

Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan expressed optimism that the coalition government will continue to work in the same spirit for the progress and development of the district in future also.
