Leh Postal Division of the Department of Posts, J&K Postal Circle opened a Special Parcel Counter and Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra at Leh Head Post Office on September 14.

Tashi Gyaltson Khachu, Chairman, Ladakh Chamber of Industries & District President BJP Leh inaugurated the Special Parcel Counter and Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra.

Tonyot Tashi, Vice President MSME & start-up forum Leh chapter also Chairman Contractor Association Leh, and A.S. Chambyal, Superintendent Post Offices, Ladakh Division were present.

Superintendent Post Offices Ladakh Division told that both the counters have been opened for hassle-free services to the business community, retail customers, corporate customers as well as foreign nationals visiting Ladakh.
 
The Parcel Counter will be a boon for the business enterprisers/corporate customers as they will get the credit facility, volume discount, and cash on delivery facility while Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra will facilitate commercial exports through postal services. This will ease the customs documentation filling process.
