Following directives from Commissioner/Secretary Padma Angmo and Director Tashi Dolma, the District Social Welfare Office in Leh has initiated volunteering initiatives at child care institutions (CCIs) in Leh district.

Social workers from the District Social Welfare Office, Mrs. Deachen Skalzang and Miss Rubina Kausar, actively involved children at rGatsaal Leh by teaching them basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and engaging them in fun educational computer games.

This initiative by the Department of Social and Tribal Welfare Ladakh is a result of a brainstorming session held on February 17 at the Pal Hotel Leh.
