Director, Social and Tribal Welfare, UT Ladakh, Tashi Dolma visited the Office of the Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project Nubra at Diskit, Nubra and also inspected the ICDS Anganwadi Centres at Partapur, Nubra accompanied by Incharge CDPO Nubra, Sonam Tsephel on April 22.

During the visit, Director Tashi Dolma enquired about the smooth functionality of the centres and directed the ICDS Supervisors along with the Anganwadi Workers ( AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHS) to ensure that details of beneficiary children are updated on Poshan Tracker timely. She also directed them to routinely conduct home visits. 

At the Partapur III ICDS centre, Director Tashi Dolma inspected the newly constructed prefabricated unit and specified the need for a separate kitchen and store room. She directed the CDPO to propose the requisite requirements of furniture at all the Anganwadi Centres. 

At the CDPO Office, she interacted with the supervisors and the staff and urged them to work with sincerity and dedication for the welfare of the public. 

Similarly, the Director of Social and Tribal Welfare, Tashi Dolma inspected the old building of the Lamdon Model School, Diskit along with the Principal, Lamdon School; Zonal Education Officer, Nubra and Incharge CDPO to explore the possibility of operationalising the proposed Eklavya Model Residential School at Nubra until the dedicated EMRS building is established.
