Secretary PWD inspects district court complex in Leh, reviews ongoing works

The Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD), inspected the District Court Complex in Leh on June 3 to review the progress of ongoing development works and assess the overall infrastructure and facilities within the premises.

During the visit, the Secretary inspected various sections of the complex and took stock of the development and maintenance works currently underway. Emphasising the importance of providing a conducive and efficient environment for judicial services, he directed the concerned officers to ensure the timely completion of all pending works while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The Secretary also reviewed the requirements for further improvements within the complex and instructed the executing agencies to address identified issues on priority. Special emphasis was laid on enhancing accessibility, cleanliness, landscaping, and the overall upkeep of the premises.

Officials accompanying the Secretary briefed him on the status of ongoing projects and proposed interventions aimed at improving infrastructure and public convenience at the District Court Complex.

Reiterating the Administration’s commitment to strengthening public infrastructure, the Secretary stressed the need for efficient execution of all development works within the stipulated timelines to ensure better public service delivery.
