SDM Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay visited Pipcha village and resolved the solar power plant issue on February 9.

CDPO Zanskar, Tashi Gurmet, and a representative of KREDA were also present.

The villagers expressed gratitude for replacing the defective Power Driver Card (PDC). 

SDM, Sonam Dorjay appealed to villagers not to use heavy power-consuming electric gadgets. The villagers assured that they will only use LED bulbs. 

The SDM and villagers of Pipcha also thanked the villagers of Pishu for providing the PDC for their solar power plant.

Naib Tehsildar along with police personnel visited Phay to monitor the road condition as three oil tankers were stuck at Manda village due to a slippery road. They brought the tankers to Padum and also provided accommodation to the drivers given the advisory of weather forecast issued by the MeT Department.
