Review meeting on the functioning of departments and status of developmental works in Tehsil Tai Suru was convened by  Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani,  Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Sankoo on February 19 at Dak Bungalow, Tai Suru.

Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani took stock from the concerned officers about issues related to health and hygiene, availability of essential commodities, people's needs, and grievances, availability of staff in offices, snow clearance measures and other related issues.

Stressing on providing proper healthcare facilities, he instructed Block Medical Officer, Tai Suru to conduct medical camps in the far off and isolated villages of the Tehsil in the coming days. 

Tehsildar Tai Suru was directed to ensure timely preparation of the pending relief and compensation cases besides obtaining the progress of revenue records from Patwaris at regular intervals.

Expressing the need to speed up ongoing snow clearance works,  he stressed the engineers of Mechanical Department to clear left out snow from the major as well as link roads in the area on an urgent basis.

Meanwhile, delegations of village Khawos and Nam Suru met the SDM with their demands and grievances. Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani assured all possible help to sort out their difficulties.
