A 3-day training programme on different aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) and other related aspects for the DDOs and Dealing Assistants of Government departments was imparted from December 26 at Conference Hall, Baroo.

The training programme was organised by State Taxes Department Kargil and inaugurated by Vikas Kundal, DC, Kargil.

Vikas Kundal said the aim of the training programme is to enlighten the DDOs about the procedural aspects of GST and TDS in day-to-day official dealings like the execution of work contracts, supplies, purchases, etc.

He stressed upon the DDOs and Dealing Assistants for enthusiasm and active involvement in the training sessions to get well versed with the modes of tax deduction procedures as per TDS and GST.
