The Presidents of the Youth Wing of LBA, Moin-ul-Islam and Anjuman Imamia collected total cash of ₹ 2, 67,750 for the flood victims of Leh district and presented to ASP, T Gyalpo on 11th September at District Police Office.

This collection was made through the music concert by Mumbai-based band Blackstratblues on 29 August this year. The event was organised under the aegis of District Police Leh under "Operation Julley” in association with the Youth Wings of the religious communities and All Ladakh Tour Operators Association. The music band was in Ladakh for the Escape Festival held in Nubra. 

The money collected in the concert will be given directly to the Gobas and Sapanchs of the worst affected areas of the district.
