Delegation of Ladakh Buddhist Association, Anjuman-e-Imamia, and Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam met Lieutenant Governor, R.K. Mathur on May 22 at Raj Niwas.

R K Mathur thanked them all the religious heads for their cooperation and good work in this pandemic situation.

All religious heads appreciated UT Administration for their efforts in the smooth conduct of the evacuation process of stranded pilgrims, patients, and students from India and from Iran to Ladakh. Also, they expressed gratitude to all the frontline workers and the masses for their cooperation.     

The delegation highlighted problems and grievances of the people of Chuchot village who are in containment zones. They requested the LG to address the issues on a priority basis.
