The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College, Nubra, organized an HIV/AIDs awareness program chaired by Principal Dr. Tsewang Motup on February 29. 

The event commenced with an informative speech by Dr. Tsewang Motup, shedding light on transmission modes and precautionary measures against the disease.

Dr. Mohd. Murtaza from the Department of Zoology delivered a detailed discourse on  AIDS, its causes, and prevention strategies.  Following this, the program featured a poster-making competition and a quiz contest.

In the poster-making competition, Najma Begum of the 6th semester secured the 1st position, Zangskit Dolma of the 2nd semester secured the 2nd position, and Amrin Kousar of the 6th semester secured the 3rd position.
