Ladakh Police initiated a recruitment drive of constable level and the physical test started at NDS Ground on November 4.

A total of 298 posts of constables in Executive, Armed/IRP, SDRF, and Telecom Wings of Ladakh Police had been advertised in the month of September 2023. As many as (9834) candidates from both the districts Leh and Kargil have applied online mode and the recruitment process began on 4 November 2023 at Leh. The recruitment process at Kargil will commence on 14 November 2023.

Further, the recruitment process is done in a transparent mode wherein right from the application filling stage to the written test- digital machinery is used to evaluate the whole process thereby minimizing human intervention.

From capturing the fingerprint of the candidates at the start to the use of RFID for measuring individual running timings and the use of CCTV at each stage of the physical tests- the whole physical test is monitored and recorded.

With the commencement of the physical tests – Ladakh Police intends to conduct the written test of the selected candidates in the first week of December and publish the final results by Jan – Feb 2024.
