Rashtriya Ekta Yatra begins in Leh, strengthening the vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu & Kashmir inaugurated the Rashtriya Ekta Yatra at the Council Secretariat, LAHDC Leh, on March 12, in the presence of Chairman/CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson. The initiative, launched under the vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, aims to strengthen national unity and foster cultural exchange among students.
As part of the Students’ Exposure in Regional Understanding (SERU) program, the Yatra provides students from diverse regions an opportunity to explore India’s rich cultural heritage. This year, 20 students from Nubra, Kargil, Leh, Lamayuru, Shang, Nyoma, and Zanskar will travel to Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir to gain deeper insights into the nation's cultural and historical diversity.
During the journey, students will visit key institutions and landmarks, including the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Museum, Wagah Border, and Dharamshala. They will engage in cultural exchange programs, discussions, sightseeing, and interactions with prominent personalities, reinforcing the spirit of national integration.
The inaugural event was attended by Director of Sowa-Rigpa, Padma Gurmet; ABVP State Organizing Secretary, Tilak Thakur; and LPT Organizing Secretary, Balvinder Singh, along with other dignitaries and students.
