In view of the novel coronavirus pandemic, Ram Nath Kovind, President convened a meeting with all the Governors, Lieutenant Governors and Administrators of all States and Union Territories through video conferencing today on March 27. 

Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President conducted the video conference that brought out suggestions and best practices initiated by states to fight the menace of COVID-19. R.K. Mathur ,Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, attended the video conference from Leh. 
 
President urged the Governors, LGs and Administrators to mobilize Indian Red Cross Society, religious and other voluntary organisations to complement the Union and State governments in the effort to fight COVID-19 and other challenges arising from the prevailing lockdown situation in the country.
