Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson chaired a preliminary meeting regarding the celebration of the 7th Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston 2023, on the occasion of UT Declaration day of Ladakh at DC conference hall, Leh on July 5.

After threadbare discussion, the meeting finalized on celebrating the occasion at NDS Stadium, Leh with the central theme commemorating the glorious 60th year of the formation of Ladakh Scouts.

CEC Gyalson added that the major events and activities on the occasion of Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston should be structured around this theme along with an all-inclusive event highlighting the tradition and customs of different regions of Ladakh celebrating its pride.

Besides, all the departments were instructed of their role and responsibilities as designated during the previous celebrations of the same event. 

Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillor for Art/Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; Executive Councillor for Minority, Ghulam Mehdi; ADDC Leh, Sonam Nurboo; Chief Planning Officer, Tsewang Gyalson along with all the departmental heads, the concerned stakeholders, and eminent scholars from Art and Culture background attended the meeting.
