Police Commemoration Day was observed with solemnity and honour at the District Police Headquarters, Khaltse, under the supervision of SSP Sham Aijaz Malik (JKPS).

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sham Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), senior Army officers, prominent members of society, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Khaltse, senior officers of the CRPF and BRO, family members of police martyrs, government officials and other dignitaries.

The programme was organised to pay tribute to police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. A solemn salute was presented in their honour, commemorating their courage, dedication and selfless service to the nation.

On the occasion, the families of police martyrs were specially honoured in recognition of the sacrifices made by their loved ones. The gathering paid homage to the martyrs and acknowledged their invaluable contributions to the nation.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the martyrs’ legacy of courage, dedication and service, and to continue serving the people with sincerity and integrity.
