Newly built lodging facility (Sarai) and sanitary complex for the people of Singay-Lalok region (Trans Himalaya) at Block headquarter Khaltse was inaugurated by Tsering Mutup, SDM, Khaltse on February 1.

Tsering Mutup appreciated the efforts of the Rural Development Department for timely completion of the facilities for the people of Trans Himalayan region. Also, he appealed people to maintain public asset as their property.

Tsering Angchuk, BDO Khaltse informed that the lodging and sanitary complex under the centrally sponsored scheme (Swachh Bharat Mission) has been constructed by Rural Development Department at a cost of ₹18 lakh. He said that with the construction of this facility, the long pending demand of the people of this area has been fulfilled.

Stanzin Yangdol, BDC Chairman, Lingshed; Ghulam Nabi, Executive Engineer PWD Sub-division level officers/officials, Nambardar and villagers of Lingshed, Dipling and Fotoksar were also present.
