A total of 121 cases were taken up for hearing out of which102 cases of different nature were settled amicably during the National Lok Adalat day on December 12 at District Court Complex, Kargil. An amount of ₹58,200was recovered as fine. 

Two benches were constituted one each at District Court Complex, Kargil, and Munsif Court Drass. The bench at Court Complex Kargil comprised of Munsiff/JMIC, Sankoo Tsering Wangyal as Chairman, and Advocate Khadim Hussain as Member. The bench at Drass comprised of the Munsif Drass/Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Drass Tsewang Phuntsog, and Tehsildar, Drass Asgar Ali. 

Advocates of the Bar Association Kargil and litigants were present during the Lok Adalat.
