National Health Mission Ladakh holds state-level meeting
A state-level review meeting for NHM programs of district Kargil and Leh was held in the conference hall of the MD NHM Office Leh on March 13.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Motup Dorje, Mission Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), UT Ladakh.
The meeting discussed the status, target, progress, and challenges encountered in the implementation of various NHM programs. Topics covered included Maternal and Child Health, Immunization, School Health Program, RBSK, Adolescent Health, Anemia Mukt Bharat, NCDs, NTEP, NTCP and more.
Dr. Motup Dorje emphasized the importance of effective program implementation, urging all participants to ensure the success of these crucial healthcare initiatives. He urged all participants to collaboratively work towards overcoming challenges and ensuring the success of these vital healthcare initiatives.
Furthermore, he stressed the importance of maximizing expenditure before the end of FY 2023-24 to the CMOs, MS, Program Officers, and BMOs.
The meeting was attended by CMO Kargil, Dr. Kacho Liyaqat Khan; CMO Leh, Dr. Diskit Dolma; SIO Dr. Iqbal Ahmad; State Consultant MCH, Dr. Rinchen Angmo; MS, DHK, Dr. Stanzin Namgyal; MS, SNM Hospital Leh, Dr. Rinchen Chosdon; Dy CMOs, DTOs, DIOs, DHOs, SPMU, DPMU and other concerned officials of district Kargil and Leh.
