Leh :
DC Leh Prasanna Ramaswamy held an interactive meeting with a group of 40 students of Dhamma House Stok at DC Conference Hall on 31st December.
These groups of students are doing a two months course in English speaking, personality development and monastic guide at Dhamma House Stok.
While interacting with the students, DC Ramaswamy G talked about the importance of hard work and dedication needed for a successful life. He also suggested them to keep an open mind for new ideas that help live lively. DC also stressed that Ladakh has a very rich culture with age-old valuable tradition, but sadly is having non-indigenous influence.
He added that therefore it is the responsibility of the young generation to keep their identity alive and set an example for the coming generation.
He also said that the youth of Ladakh are honest but they should work on personality development, keep the high spirit, and need to shed away the easy-going and laid back attitude. Encouraging the students, he also advised them that life must be made purposeful and that it shouldn't be wasted by indulging into bad habits.
Earlier, President of the course Tsewang Norboo gave the welcome speech. Later, the students had an interactive session with DC.
