A month-long winter camp for students of Nyoma jointly organised by Youth Conservation Corps (YCC), Health Inc, Nyoma Youth Association with support from the District Administration concluded on January 31.

Councillor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang, was the chief guest. Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Nyoma; Nambardar, members of Village Education Committee (VEC), parents, and villagers were present during the event.

Students were taught skill development, critical thinking, and problem-solving during the month-long camp. They were trained in carpentry, knitting, weaving, sewing, ice-skating and digital tools for the development of education in remote areas of Ladakh.
