Mobile Medical unit camp benefits 85 residents in Ang village

During the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp at village Ang.

The Block Medical Officer (BMO), Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmed, successfully organised a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp at village Ang on February 20.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Shamim Ahmed to provide specialised healthcare services to the local community, particularly residents of the remote village.

Medical officers were deputed for the camp is Dr. Stanzin Yangdol – Physician; Dr. Ashish Vaishnav – Medical Officer; Dr. Shaista Iqbal – Dental Surgeon and Dr. Stanzin Lazes – Medical Officer (Amchi)

A total of 85 patients availed services during the camp, including, 34 physician consultations, 18 general consultations by the Medical Officer, 17 dental consultations and 12 Amchi consultations

In addition to general medical care, Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening was conducted for all eligible attendees, focusing on the early detection of diabetes and hypertension.

The camp concluded successfully, delivering essential healthcare services and much-needed relief to the residents of village Ang.
