The ‘Mimangs-si-sJhabstogs’ campaign, aimed at strengthening public outreach and ensuring effective implementation of welfare schemes across the Kharu Sub-Division, commenced at Hemis village on November 8.

The initiative is designed to bring government services and welfare schemes directly to the people, ensuring on-the-spot grievance redressal and timely delivery of benefits.

Around 20 departments, along with representatives from the State Bank of India (SBI), J&K Bank, and Punjab National Bank (PNB), participated in the campaign.

During the event, issues related to ongoing projects under the Public Works Department (PWD), Rural Development Department (RDD), Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC), and Public Health Engineering (PHE) were resolved on the spot. Authorities also distributed Resident Certificates, Domicile Certificates, Mutation Documents, and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Certificates.

In addition, essential services such as Golden Card registration, Aadhaar enrolment, and other public welfare activities were carried out during the programme.

The campaign witnessed active and enthusiastic public participation, reflecting its success in promoting citizen-centric governance and effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
