He said, “The ration kit distribution initiative is the need of the hour because many have been affected due to COVID-19. The initiative may not solve the problem faced by the people completely but will surely give support to the people residing in far-flung villages of Leh district.”
Around 2500 kits will be distributed to the people residing in far-flung villages of Sham, Nubra, and Changthang region.
Talking about the Live to Love, His Eminence Thuksey Rinpoche said that the organisation is initiated by His Holiness Drukpa Rinpoche and has been focusing on various projects, initiatives, and campaigns for the welfare of all.
“The ration kit distribution initiative as COVID relief to the far-flung villages of Leh district is one such small initiative to support the needy who are residing in villages where accessibility is challenging and have limited economic options”, His Eminence added.
