Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Leh, Delex Namgyal, JKAS, chaired a meeting on September 25 to review arrangements for the upcoming 5th CEC Polo Cup Tournament, scheduled to be held from October 1 to 4.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on arrangements for the smooth conduct of the tournament, including the opening and closing ceremonies, cultural programmes, publicity, venue management and other logistical requirements.

The meeting also reviewed arrangements for the transportation of horses, medical facilities, public address system, commentary and other essential requirements.

The concerned departments and stakeholders were directed to coordinate closely and complete all necessary arrangements well in advance to ensure the successful and smooth conduct of the tournament.

The meeting was attended by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Leh; CMO Leh; Executive Engineer, Construction Division; Executive Engineer, Mechanical Division; Executive Engineer, PDD Leh; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh; and other officers and officials.
