Lecture-cum-demonstration on life-saving skills held in GDC, Nubra

The First Aid Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) Nubra conducted a lecture-cum-demonstration on life-saving skills as a part of the ‘Saving Someone’s Life Initiative’ on November 1.
Resource person, ENT specialist, and social worker, Dr. Nordan Odzer gave the lecture-cum-demonstration on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and other life-saving procedures useful in emergencies like a fire, seizures, drowning, choking, and electrocution. He shared that as per research studies the life-saving skills could save up to 40 percent of lives in emergency cases.
A doubt clearing session related to medical queries was held with the faculty and students
Principal, GDC Nubra, Dr. Tsewang Motup; Assistant Professor Botany, Dr. Tsetan Dolker, and Assistant Professor English, Parveen Fatima also spoke on the occasion.
