Lamstan provides awareness about various career opportunities for students of Leh

To aware students about the various career opportunities, Mega-Event themed, 'Know our Bureaucrats' was organized by Lamstan in collaboration with Hill Council, Leh on June 29 at Lamdon Model Senior Secondary School, Leh.
A total of 847 students from different schools including, Bhartiya Vidya Niketan(BVN), Siddhartha High School, Government Girls School, Delhi public school, Moravian Mission School, Mahabodhi School and Lamdon School attended.
Motivating the students, Moses Kunzang, ADC, Leh said, “In our times we had no career guidance and easy access to information, but now the world has become so small because of internet connectivity. Today one can access every information in the world easily and we should take the best benefit out of it”.
Highlighting the employment opportunity, he said that the Hill Council, Leh in technical association with Emporium consultancy private limited is providing courses with 100% placement. There are three batches in Jammu and will be starting the next batch in Leh.
Ishey Tundup, Principal, Lamdon School was felicitated by Lamstan with a Lifetime achievement award.
Tashi Dolma, Joint Director, Education department shared her academic experience and encouraged the students to choose subjects of their interest to excel and should not fear of failure and be perseverant.
“Work hard and success will naturally come to you. You should self-introspect, know your potential and work on it”, she added.
Mohammad Taqi, Deputy Director, Employment, Leh praised the consistency and spirit of Lamstan.
Talking about the skill development course in collaboration with Emporium, he said, “We have placement oriented skill development course in Hospitality and Aviation for 10 2 passed students. After completing the course, the students are guaranteed to be placed either in aviation companies or five-star hotels across the country. ”
