LAHDC Kargil pays homage to Former MP Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan

Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan, a retired DIG, dedicated politician, and senior leader of the National Conference.

Paying tribute to his remarkable legacy, the CEC remarked that Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan's statesmanship, determination, and unwavering commitment to the people of Ladakh, especially during his two terms as Member of Parliament, will always be cherished.

Recalling his contributions, Dr. Akhoon described him as a towering figure whose sincere dedication and tireless efforts to uplift the underprivileged set a benchmark for public service.

“His selfless contributions and relentless commitment to addressing the community's needs will remain unparalleled. His loss is deeply felt by the community he served with such devotion,” Dr. Akhoon stated.

In this time of grief, the CEC and the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, extending heartfelt sympathies and support.

The CEC and LAHDC, Kargil, prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the grieving family to endure this irreparable loss.
