A group of farmers from the Khaltse block embarked on an exposure tour to the Kashmir Valley, flagged off by Executive Councillor for Agriculture, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chosphel, on September 10.
The tour, organized under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme, aims to provide local farmers with valuable insights by visiting various research stations and farms in the region.
This initiative is designed to enhance the farmers' understanding of advanced agricultural practices and foster the adoption of improved farming techniques. By exposing them to innovative methods and successful practices in the Kashmir Valley, the tour seeks to promote sustainable agricultural growth and boost productivity in the Khaltse block.
