Baseej Imam IKMT protested in Kargil Market against the execution and burned the effigy of the monarch of Saudi Arbia.

On the call of Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama and Islamia School Kargil, the whole district Kargil observed Bandh and soon after noon prayers under the leadership of the Markazi Imam Jumma, Hujatull Ilslam Wal Muslimeen Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Mufeed, a protest rally was taken out.

Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Haji Mohd Hanifa Jan along with thousands of people from nearby villages reached Kargil to participate in the mourning protest procession which started from Islamia School Kargil and concluded at Islamia School Chowk.

The protestor has carried placards which read in support of Ayatullah Sheikh Nimr and against Saudi Arabia. 

On this occasion Chief Spokesperson of ISK and Aga Syed Kazim Sabere termed Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the main source of terrorism in the world that supports Al-qayeda, ISIS, Boko Harm and other terrorist organizations around the world.

He further said that Islam which has been divided by this country and has become a victim of the Wahabi ideology of the Saudis.

Hujjatul Islam wal Muslameen Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and Sheikh Mohammad Ibrahim Khalili has also addressed the people and condemned the execution and human rights violation in Saudi Arabia.

President Islamia School Kargil has written a letter to the External Affairs Minister Shushma Swaraj. The letter emphasises that the execution of Ayatullah Sheikh Baqir Nimr by Saudi Arabia clearly depicts that Saudi Arabia has tried to subjugate the voice of the people wanting democratic rights. It added that the cleric has been executed along with an Al-qayeda terrorist just to dupe the international community into thinking that he too was a terrorist, which is not true. 

In the letter, President ISK on-behalf of the people of Ladakh Region of the Republic of India, has expressed strong condemnation over this unlawful and inhuman execution. They also appealed to the world communities to assure human rights protection in Saudi Arabia and in other countries like Palestine, Bahrain, Yemen, and Syria.

 

Later, Imam Jumma prayed for peace and prosperity in the country and the world. Announcement was made in order to follow the Majilis E Ullama-e-Hind for the Nationwide Protest on 4th of January.

In Sankoo and Taisuru under the Banner of Anjuma-e-Imam Zaman Suru same protest were held. Scholar Syed Ahmad Razvi along with Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Aga Syed Abass Razvi and councillors also participated.
