Justice Bansi Lal Bhat chairs meeting on village welfare along Line of Control in Ladakh
Chairman of the Reservation Commission for Actual Line of Control (ALC) Ladakh, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat, chaired a crucial meeting on June 12 at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Leh. The meeting focused on identifying essential amenities in villages adjacent to the actual line of control in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Justice Bansi Lal Bhat highlighted the historical underpinnings of the Constitution and the justice system, illustrating their pivotal role in advancing the welfare of marginalized communities. He underscored the commitment to justice and inclusivity, emphasizing that no individual should be excluded from the nation's progress, echoing the ethos of the Indian Constitution.
He stressed the imperative of ensuring the welfare of all residents, particularly those previously overlooked in development initiatives. Justice Bansi Lal Bhat underscored the accessibility of justice for every individual as crucial for the region's comprehensive development. He further emphasized the role of the Indian Constitution in shaping India as a welfare state through its reservation policies, ensuring social justice and equitable development for remote communities.
In his directives, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat instructed line departments to compile and submit accurate records of villages adjoining the Actual Line of Control (ALC).

District Magistrate, Kargil; General Manager, BSNL, Kargil; Chief Education Officer, Kargil; Chief Medical Officer, Kargil; Manager of Airtel Kargil; Manager, JIO Kargil; and concerned officers participated virtually.
