Joint Director Finance/Chief Controller of Finance, Iftikhar Hussain, JKAS on November 5 chaired a meeting at the NIC Hall, Kargil, to review expenditure monitoring and financial management arrangements for the upcoming Panchayat Elections in Kargil district.

The meeting focused on the expenditure monitoring teams constituted for each block, their respective roles and responsibilities, and the assignments to be carried out during the election process.

The meeting was attended by the Accounts Officer to the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain, along with members of the concerned expenditure monitoring teams and other officials.

During the meeting, the Chief Controller of Finance discussed various aspects of election expenditure monitoring and financial management. He issued necessary directions to the concerned officials to ensure effective coordination, proper monitoring and strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines.

The CCF emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability and timely execution of all election-related financial procedures to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the upcoming Panchayat Elections in Kargil district.
