The Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) programme held at Community Health Center (CHC) Khaltse, on March 3.

Nambardar Khaltse, Stanzin Phurboo inaugurated the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization programme as a chief guest whereas Women Alliance President Khaltse, Tsering Tsomo was present as the guest of honor.

Besides, Nambardar Khaltse along with Women Alliance President Khaltse flagged off the mobile teams which were sent to various parts of the sub-division to ensure no child is left without anti-polio drops.

Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr Yangchen Dolma informed that 68 Polio booth with 11 Supervisors was set up in the subdivision in which a total of 1412 children in the age group of 0-5 were administered polio drops.

Child Specialist Dr. Spalchen Gonboo; Surgeon Dr. Feroz Ahmad; ASHA Khaltse and paramedical staff of the Community Health Center, Khaltse were present during the occasion.
