Hill Council, Leh decided rationalisation of teachers in the upcoming transfer of teachers to give uniform and effective resource management in all government schools of Leh district.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Gyal P Wangyal, CEC, Hill Council, Leh on February 4 at Council Secretariat.

The transfer committee of education department Leh and Konchok Stanzin, EC Education proposed the rationalisation policy before the council members. 

It was also decided to keep Council Model Schools away from the rationalisation policy and separate decision will be taken later.

Tsering Sandup, Deputy Chairman, Executive Councillors, Councillors and officers of the education department, Leh were present.
